John planned, organized, and directed the first out of state seminar/retreat of the litigation section of the Connecticut Bar Association in May 2017 at Chatham Bars Inn on Cape Cod. The Section is one of the CBA’s largest with almost a thousand lawyers; planning took two years. The curriculum included all aspects of court litigation from business litigation, Motion practice, depositions, technology in the Courtroom, enhancing small firm production, working economically with paralegals, ethics to health and wellness for stamina at trial. The faculty of well- known local practicing lawyers included Jude Basile from California on enhancing our skills regarding psychology of communication with judges and jurors. It received rave reviews from virtually all attendees who demanded it be reconvened as soon as possible.
